You can choose from:

Tasmanian Tawny: Deep tawny colour with strong rich blackcurrant aromas. Palate is smooth, mouth filling with dominate fruit. Ideal after dinner with coffee. Tasmanian Tawny fortified wine – formerly known as Blackcurrant fortified wine. 

Intense Blackberry: Intense fresh blackberry aromas with strong flavours continuing on the palate making this a delicious dessert style after dinner drink. Some natural sedimentation may occur with age.

Sweet Raspberry: 100% Tasmanian raspberries gives an intense raspberry nose with rich sweet luscious fruit flavours on the palate, smooth and lingering. This dessert style of fortified wine is delicious on its own or served with mixed berry style desserts and ice cream.

Rich Cherry: Made from fresh local cherries. Intense rich cherry aromas with sweet smooth cherry fruit and a lingering finish. Delicious served with chocolate desserts including black forest cake.

Dessert Blueberry: Clean intense blueberry fruit aromas with luscious rich flavours on the palate making this a full bodied smooth dessert style if fortified wine. A lengthy sweet finish.

Tasmanian Cassis: Our Tasmanian Cassis has been made with fresh local blackcurrants using traditional wine making methods. Our Cassis has an intense blackcurrant fruit aroma and the palate is very sweet, rich and smooth with long lingering flavours. Cassis is predominately used in a Kir Royale cocktail (3tsp Cassis and Champagne), however, can be enjoyed with dry Tasmanian cider, sparkling water or poured over fine vanilla bean ice-cream.

Spiced Apple Mead: Spiced Apple Mead Liqueur is a premium blend of Tasmanian honey, Huon Valley apples and a delicate mix of spices including cloves, cinnamon and sugar aged in oak resulting in a sweet, rich, luscious and creamy honey mead. Serve slightly warm in Winter. In Summer, serve in a refreshing cocktail with good quality ginger beer, lime juice & mint over ice. Great with cheese platters or with warm apple desserts.

Serving Suggestion

Honey mead is the “Honeymoon” drink and is best served slightly warmed to enhance the honey, spice and aromas. To warm, fill your glass with boiling water and let stand for 30 seconds. Discard the water and fill the glass with the desired amount of mead. The heat from the glass will slowly warm the mead.

Cocktail Recipe

Mead Zinger Cocktail

Add 30ml Spiced apple liqueur mead to a glass filled with ice. Add 3-4 drops of lime juice and a sprig of fresh, old fashioned mint. Top with good quality ginger beer and serve.
