Spiced Apple Mead Liqueur is a premium blend of Tasmanian honey, Huon Valley apples and a delicate mix of spices including cloves, cinnamon and sugar aged in oak resulting in a sweet, rich, luscious and creamy honey mead. Serve slightly warm in Winter. In Summer, serve in a refreshing cocktail with good quality ginger beer, lime juice & mint over ice. Great with cheese platters or with warm apple desserts.
Honey mead is the “Honeymoon” drink and is best served slightly warmed to enhance the honey, spice and aromas. To warm, fill your glass with boiling water and let stand for 30 seconds. Discard the water and fill the glass with the desired amount of mead. The heat from the glass will slowly warm the mead.
Mead Zinger Cocktail
Add 30ml Spiced apple liqueur mead to a glass filled with ice. Add 3-4 drops of lime juice and a sprig of fresh, old fashioned mint. Top with good quality ginger beer and serve.
