Banana Mead Honeycomb Crunch

Banana dessert


  • 60mls Hartzview Spiced Apple honey liqueur Mead
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup whipped thickened cream
  • ½ crumbled honeycomb chocolate bar
  • Chocolate sauce


  1. Line the sides of the glass with chocolate syrup
  2. Start with slicing ¾ of your banana into bite size rounds, and layer 4 pieces around the bottom of the glass, so they line the sides
  3. Place scoop of ice-cream on banana slices
  4. Pour over Hartzview spiced apple honey liqueur mead
  5. Sprinkle 1 tbs of crumbled honeycomb, followed by a tbs of cream
  6. Continue to layer the cream, banana and honeycomb until the glass is full
  7. Cut the remaining banana into thirds and place on top of dessert
  8. Garnish with chocolate sauce
